Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers ("ICANN")   - The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) is the private sector, non-profit corporation created in 1998 to assume responsibility for IP address space allocation, protocol parameter assignment, domain name system management, and root server system management functions.

Address Supporting Organization ("ASO") - The ICANN Supporting Organization responsible for reviewing and developing recommendations on IP address policy.

At Large Advisory Committee - The official page of the At Large Advisory Committee, the body which represents Internet users in ICANN policy-making processes.

Generic Names Supporting Organization ("GNSO") - The ICANN Supporting Organization responsible for developing policy for the domain name system.

Internet Assigned Numbers Authority ("IANA") - In conjunction with ICANN, IANA coordinates ccTLD and root server issues and handles procotol number assignment.

World Wide Alliance of Top Level Domains (ccTLDs) - The primary website of the country-code top-level domain managers and registries that participate in the activities of ICANN. Contains links to the five regional ccTLDs organizations (AFTLD, APTLD, CENTR, LACTLD, and NATLD).
